National Family and Community Engagement Conference Visits Homewood Bioshelter

The bioshelter in Homewood was a formal site visit for the National Family and Community Engagement Conference that was held in Pittsburgh on June 20-22, 2016.  Highlighting leadership at all levels and exciting local work in Pittsburgh, the 2016 conference offered varied perspectives while examining how schools and communities around the country are realizing mutual goals and maximizing impact through productive family-school-community partnerships. Dr. John Wallace affirmed that the bioshelter was a big hit with visitors from across the country!
