| Abstract | With the development of power electronics technology, compared to the AC power distribution network, the DC power distribution network has tremendous potential for its obvious advantage in technology and economic. In this paper, firstly, the development history, advantages as well as operation features were described and analyzed. On this basis, the research and developments of DC power distribution network in various countries were summarized. Secondly, the key topics, such as system architecture, control and protection technologies, and their research developments were comprehensively expounded. At last, the development of DC power distribution network in China was introduced and forecasted. |
